Are files generally transferred after medical is completed and passed?

We sent our application of spouse sponsorship on 18th June 2018.
We are waiting for UCI number... generally, it comes within 45 days but we don't get yet...
Has anybody an idea why it is delaying?

hey, we sent ours on 21 june 2018. nothing yet!!!!
i am going crazy. so many others have same dates and theirs file have gone to medical stage.

Guys am still waiting for AOR1 but i saw some folks suggested to link application to GCkey without AOR. my question is since i already have CIC account should i try by filling my (Sponsor) details or should i ask my Wife (PA) to create an account and fill in her details?

Sponsor cannot link. You'd need to input her info...or have her create an account and link. You can try to use your info and log in on ECAS though.

You would need to have your uci number.

Hi guys,

Our application got cancelled on August 17th, 2018 due to mistake made by CIC and a new application number need to be recreate. We received a new application number tonight with CIC requested my husband to do medical exam.

Now, my question is: I checked online and under "Sponsorship Application Status" it said "decision made" on August 22, 2018. Is that mean SA approved? Please advise.

We are now 77 days without anything. File received in Mississauga on June 14th. I'm told it was then forwarded on.

If we needed to send the file to Sydney, NS it would've been handy to tell us that. We specificaly followed the instructions that stated send it to Mississauaga.

I've called three weeks in a row and have been told to just keep waiting for AOR. This past week they finally gave me a temporary file number starting with XF however it doesn't work in ECAS, or GCKEY. They ackowledged that we should be much further along in the process but would not give any reason why we haven't. I'm told it has not been sent back and all we can do it wait.

AOR has slowed down since the office change, none of this surprises me. It's good that it hasn't been sent back, hopefully you get word soon.

You would need to have your uci number.

you can use different options such as name, the UCI is NOT required!

Yes, you can. You can use other information like the PA's first name and last name then passport number or city of birth. There are a bunch of combinations that you can try. Some people have their AORs arrive later, so they were able to link it before receiving an email.

It could be. You should receive an email stating that the sponsor is approved. There are some exceptions though.

I'm afraid that I didn't get your question. Are you asking if you can link your application by yourself despite having a representative? Unfortunately, no. If your representative is registered with IRCC, they should be able to give you access to their own portal. If not, they will have to contact you about the updates of your application.
