Hi Nepallica,

Mine is also similar, although they started processing my application last September only and will be almost two months now that there's no movement. "Medical results have been received" status has been there and seemed like forever. Do you know, or does anyone here know, how long it takes for medical results to be verified before you see another progress on your application? Appreciate your help/advice, please. Thanks.

The next line should be " Decision has been made an agent will contact you shortly with the results." Did you make an online application with the GCKey? If yes then you will see the Background and Security Check in-process next.

There is no set timeline as to when the medical is reviewed.
We all should see some moment this Dec 2016.

My girlfriend and I have been using the forum to gauge our progress since applying, even though we have a straightforward app (visa exempt country, common-law status, no red flags). We are starting to be concerned with our timeline, as nothing has been updated since early September. It appears to be way outside the norm that everything on my CIC is approved, and [flash=200,200]http://background check has now been "in progress" for over 2 months[/flash], hearing nothing. My partner lives with me in Belgium, so can't call CIC, but emailed her MP to see if we could get movement, and was told that the MPs office couldn't contact CIC until the estimated processing time (13 months) had passed. Anyone have thoughts on how to move forward, or experienced something similar?

I am gathering documents for spousal sponsorship. Can any body help me what kind of documents or photos that i have to prepare(apart from checklist) to sponsor my wife.
I have questions like.....

1.Do i have to include photos of her family?
2.Do i have to include her bank account details?

Anything if you think will help my file getting processed without any hassles....please let me know....

Hopefully we will all get an update before or by Dec. I'm worried that the holidays might put the applications on hold for a bit until after New Year. Wishing all of us luck.

I'm on pretty much the same timeline as you and really just in the past 2 weeks has there been any real action on my file ( request for Police Certificate) not much happened before that. I don't think you should panic yet.

Hi A, have you tried typing in "2" in the number of individuals in application? That is if your spouse is sponsoring only you. The spouse is included in the count.

a quick question plz LVO requested me for photographs (50x70), i have mailed them and they have received on Monday.
in gckey still status is action required. anybody can tell how many days it take to update the status? and secondly there is upload button as well in view my submitted file so should i upload as well?
