Hi All,

Did anyone sign up for MyCIC prior to receiving AOR2?. Did you receive the AOR2 letter from MyCIC or from PA email inbox?

Thanks

Checked myCIC last night, and my application status had changed to "Review in Process", which is SA, without having received the SA email/letter yet. So we will be on the lookout for that! Happy that its going forward at a good pace. Especially since I should be a May 20th applicant, not June 29th!

(CIC messed up and sent my app back saying I was missing a form for INLAND, when I made it clear everywhere that it was an OUTLAND application. CIC agent admitted that it sounded like someone in house had made a mistake, and told me that I would be put back in the queue at my original day, but that never happened.) So....guess I'm "officially" a June applicant. Hoping the time between SA and DM isn't too long!

Does anyone know what the average time is between those, for a US/CA application through Ottawa?

I was able to link my account about 2 weeks before I get my SA by e-mail.
I thought it was not possible before getting SA, but it worked :)

I got a third line added on Ecas PA side.
We started processing XXX application on August 16, 2016.

Not sure what it means... No AOR2 yet, even though it's been 10 days after SA and usually my VO sends AOR2.

Good news for you!
I heard no one from SPVO gets AOR2 by email, they consider that 3rd line as AOR2.
Hope to see my 3rd line soon too :) got SA email Monday 15th.

I think the case is after you linked your application to MyCIC all the correspondence including AOR2(if there is one) will fall into myCIC messages Inbox.

Yup, that actually makes sense....
I hope I get it soon! Checking every day!

Have a question for applicants with lawyers as representatives

Does anyone know if your representative(lawyer) can check your MyCIC application status?. As you know we can't link our application, but has anyone been able to have there lawyers log in and see it??...

waiting for my AOR2 ::)

Hello eveyone, anyone can help? ???
I have read some threads talking about the same questions but couldn't find the exact answer.
Thanks in advance!!

I've just received my AOR2 this morning(June 3 applicant), in the e-mail it says:

For the principal applicant and all dependents 18 and over, whether accompanying you to Canada or not:
¨ Updated Schedule A Background/Declaration form (IMM 5669): You must declare your personal history and addresses from the age of 18 (not only the past 10 years).
¨ Updated Additional Family Information form (IMM 5406)
¨ If not yet submitted: Original police certificates from each country in which you have spent 6 consecutive months or more since the age of 18.

Question 1:
Do I need to re-submit IMM5669 & IMM5406 again if I have NO updates? I've checked the official website the forms were not updated so I'm pretty sure the ones I have submitted in June are the most updated ones.

Question 2:
I have previously lived in Canada for a year. Yet I found it says "Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No" from the official page of <<How to get a police certificate - Canada>>. So I don't need to submit my police certificate of Canada, even I am asked to submit "police certificates from each country", am I correct?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Any idea why they're asking for something different than what the instructions on both the IMM5669 itself and the completion guide say? These sorts of discrepancies are concerning to me as I'm working on my own application.

Some VO specifically ask for the personal history from 18 years old.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I wondered, but I didn't want to make assumptions. :)
