I have sent my application (outland) to Case Processing Centre - Mississauga

It will be delivered to office by tomorrow or day after.

When should I expect to get AOR1 ? What is an average time ?

Mine took less than 20 days for AOR1 and I see in the spreadsheets that this is the average.

I just downloaded the new 1344 against the one I sent March 2016; the difference is on Page 6 of 6. (....kind of crazy here lol)...

That's great news, congrats! Our app was received by CIC on the same as yours, June 13. ECAS states they started working on it on June 29, 2016, and we got our AOR on June 30 via e-mail. I am curious what time does ECAS state they started working on yours? It would give me an idea of how many days behind you our app is. Our VO is Manila but I would think the Sponsor Approval step is not really affected by the VO until it is actually sent out...

What about the people waiting from May??? They are passed the 56 days, and when some have called they are told to wait until August (one person was even told wait until the end of August). Yup, the Canadian Gov't so consistently unconsistent

AOR received June 21st (actually the 17th, but we were assigned a new case number the 21st), and received SA July 27th!

We applied Outland, assuming Paris to be our assigned VO (common-law partner is Belgian), but according to the SA email we will be processed at the Ottawa CPC. Anybody else have this happen? We thought the Ottawa office was only for US spouse Outland applications?

From what I've read, some visa exempt cases are also processed at Ottawa, especially the straight forward ones. Congrats!

Some outland applications for other nationalities are assigned to Ottawa because Ottawa processes applications very fast to relieve pressure and backlog on other VO's.

If your file has indeed been sent to Ottawa instead of Paris count it as a blessing.
