Fantastic one process completed, hope to see you in the citizenship forum in the next 3 ~ 4 years ;D take care of yourself/ all the best and it was nice meeting you in the forum.
It's good to meet you in the forum too, you have been very helpful and supportive! <3

However, it's not the end of my landing story yet, since it was only a short landing and I have left the country already.

Planning to return for good this summer, but kind of stuck at the PR card timeline. If the current 56 days is true, it will be fine but if I can't get it soon enough I will have to apply for travel document. The question is, should I wait until I have no chance to get PR card in time, or apply for it now. (the application fee is cheaper than the courier fee for my PR card, lol)

What if I apply for travel document and approved but the PR card also comes in time, are they mutually exclusive to each other?
Also, can I fly to USA and enter by road with my confirmed CoPR (without PR card / travel document)?

I understand your situation too well ;D... My understanding is (subject to correction) you can only apply for the TD outside Canada so that may or may not be a challenge for you, If you leave before the card is issued your options are to have the card sent to you, apply for TD, or return via private vehicle across the US border with CoPR.

I am waiting for my card also before I leave and return permanently at the end of summer, I'm opting to wait instead because its much cheaper and stress free to do so ;D ;D ;D

Question - After you finished your landing, can you apply for the health card right away? Or do you have to wait for the PR card to come through? From what I have been reading, SIN card you get right away. Correct?

SIN yes correct you get right away. but for health card its different in each province. see the website below for Ontario

http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/ohip/

Eligibility
Ontario residents are eligible for provincially funded health coverage (OHIP). Generally, to be eligible for Ontario health coverage you must :

be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or among one of the newcomer to Canada groups who are eligible for OHIP as set out in Ontario’s Health Insurance Act ; and
be physically present in Ontario for 153 days in any 12-month period; and
be physically present in Ontario for at least 153 days of the first 183 days immediately after establishing residency in the province; and
make your primary place of residence in Ontario.
OHIP coverage normally becomes effective three months after the date you establish residency in Ontario. The ministry strongly encourages new and returning residents to purchase private health insurance in case you become ill during the OHIP waiting period.

Yes if you visit Service Canada shortly after your landing with CoPR you will be issued with a new SIN# official document will come in the mail (I'm reading here also you can apply at Pearson International Airport in Ontario), for the health card the rules vary depending on your province as noted in a previous post, in my case i went to a license centre to apply and about a week later it arrived in my mail.

I most probably will be coming to Ontario so that kinda sucks. Thank you for the info though.

We can understand your situation. I don't think many left from June. Did you apply for GCMS notes? Did you find any useful information in the notes. I would suggest, contact your local MP. Sometimes, it helps.
