Just now I got ready for visa email.
Also I submitted my request for change visa stamping at Delhi office.
How long does it take to get reply from cic about my visa stamping?
Anybody can tell ?
Thanks in advance.

Has anyone tried case-specific enquiry ? There is no option for InCanada PR - CEC

I had and I got the same canned response as usual.

HI Rank,

First of all Congratulations, I can understand that is really a big thing after a long wait!
But, be careful to expect something on the timelines ?

When did you request for change of the office for the Visa stamping ? and how did you made the request ? Did you get any response ? When did you apply for your PR ?

As of July 6, Canada had issued 844 visas to foreign nationals and their dependents resulting in only 411 admissions being fast tracked for permanency residency.

"Implementing the express entry system was a significant undertaking and we continue to monitor it closely," the government report said, cautioning it is only "a snapshot" intended to capture "one moment in time."

The report said Canada will meet its immigration quota not through express entry but by drawing from a backlog of applications submitted under the old system.

so is it a good news or bad :O

Not sure, whether this will impact us any way but at least people has start complaining about this new process. I think CIC is not getting that much outcome what they were expecting...

I was looking forward to becoming a PR by June 2015 (or sooner), now it's anybody's guess when it will happen with the challenges of EE and a new government.

I left the country since I needed a break and I thought by the time I came back I should have my CoPR and could land as a PR. Turned out I gave up my returning flight as obviously I didn't get the long-waited CoPR and my BOWP approved just 3 days before my flight.

I still haven't updated CIC I'm no longer living in the country, as I am afraid that it will slow down my application for even more.

what's your timeline bro??

someone on the jul or August page - has been told by CIC that the wait is 20 months now - and that they have to update the website :/
I will definitely have lost a job if that's the case ....
