Hello mypr,

As for you child, pls see the below extract from the email i recieved from CIC,

Concerning your dependent child:



Please add yours and your partner’s dependent children (including step-children) to your application for Permanent Residence. All children whom are NOT a Canadian citizen or who have NOT obtained Permanent Residence status in Canada must provide our office with the following:



1. He/She must provide our office with control documents

2. He/She must undergo a medical examination. The appropriate information and forms will be sent separately.



Important:



Please note the above conditions are imposed for both children who are accompanying AND non-accompanying.



*If your child was born in Canada or if one of their parents is a Canadian citizen, the child is considered a Canadian citizen and does not need to be added to your application for Permanent Residence. Instead, you must provide our office with a copy of the child’s birth certificate.



Controlled documents required for continued processing:



· A completed and signed IMM0008 Application for Permanent Residence in Canada;

· A completed and signed IMM5406 Additional Family Information*

· A completed and signed IMM5669 Schedule A*

· A copy of your child’s valid passport

· A copy of your child’s birth certificate

· An original police certificate for all countries your child has lived for more than 6 months if he/she is over the age of 18; (for more information, consult the following link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp)

*To be completed if the dependent child is over the age of 18.

How to add your child(ren) to your Permanent Resident application:



In order to add your child(ren) to your application for Permanent Residence, the following documents must be provided (in addition to the control documents indicated above):



· Processing fees for your child(ren) if he/she will be accompanying yourself to Canada

· Four (4) recent passport-size photos (photos must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications)

· A Quebec Selection Certificate for your spouse. For more information, please consult the following link: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html

With the exception of Police Certificates, please submit the requested documents as scanned attachments and send to the following e-mail address:

What the hack,, in Call center they don't even put our call on waiting/hold, they just disconnect the call..

Can any body tell me whats the good time to call them..

I have tried getting a MP to call on my behalf and the MP came back to me with the same lame answer from the call center. Tried calling the call center and they said "We are helpless and cant do anything for you". This is after them writing a note to the immigration officer two months ago and their (immigration officer) reply was that a decision will be made in the next two months. Surprise surpise, nothing happened. Am i the only one with still just three lines on ecas? Just spent another $250 applying for an extension on my bridging work permit. Sounds stupid coz a bridging work permit was an extension itself to my previous work permit. A friend of mine applied for his PR in express entry and got a decision made in four months. four months?? Another friend got his application rejected in four months coz one of his documents was from 2014. Does that mean all my documents are expired now? i dont even work for the same employer anymore. My medicals were done in Feb 2015, they are only valid for one year and the way the processing is going i think i will have to do them again.
