Hi,

I am planning to approach MP in my area to raise my concerns. Is anyone approached to local MP?

Could anyone advise what is required to discuss my case with him?
I am June 02 applicant and CIC didn't touch my file after sending medicals to me. I have done medicals along with my family.

I am Jun6 applicant received my MR 9th July. RPRF on 14th July. Yes I was on second review and received my PPR on 19th August. I have sent my passport on 20th.

Not sure if it's a good or bad thing.

I applied on May 5th for BOWP and today I got an email saying there is update on my application.

When I logged into my CIC, it says: This application has been approved.

I am supposed to be waiting for my CoPR. Getting my BOWP approved ahead of the timeline (currently is 117 days) means I am going to wait longer for my CEC application? :'(

you need to understand CIC is trying to make money as much as they can. delay in PR so that all the work permit guys will apply for extention result CIC will get money . now if they issue the copr without touching your work permit application then definitely you will ask for withdrawal and in that case CIC has to refund the fees. thats why they have approved your work permit out of turn and i am sure you will be getting you copr within couple of days. i have also applied for work permit extention in mid of june and waiting for PPR. i know for sure they will do the same . first approve the WP then send the PPR.
nothing in our hand so just wait and watch.

25june 2014 recieved application 26 feb 2015done medical now show 3rd line your file is processing on 25 aug 2014. Do you know when they reqested me for rprf.

Hi Zyx,
In you 1st post you mentioned that 3rd line is showing 25 Aug 2015, but now you are saying that its 2014. which one is true?

Well.. all we can say " your background check is in-progress and you have to wait"

I have just called to CIC, they said that Background check is still in progress. God only knows how much time it takes to get PPR request.
its been 15 months waiting for the Passport request. :-( i think CIC should pay back us for our stress and frustration. what is this back ground issue?? how come others were able to get their background check in few months and June applications back gorund process goes forever.

For me they never say something is in progress... they always say its wating for VO to review your file and they agree that no one has toched the file since feb.

if that is the case get in touch with your local MP, That will help you to speed up the process. Did you apply for GCMS notes? What does it say?

same for me, medical test in february and since then dead silence. My GCMS says they review recommended by officer. Due date on my file is 2. august 2015 (Date of AOR was 2nd august 2014). Around the 12/13th of august the third line appeared on ECAS (started processing application on august 2nd 2014). So I don't know if they are actually doing something or not. Fact is that they weren't doing anything on the file until then (not even 'background checks' but they were waiting for officer review to initiate these...) and then it still has to go through criminality and security checks. When I called them a very annoyed and rude call center agent told me had no access to my file and cannot see anymore than what I could see in ECAS.

Hi guys, I am in the same situation, June 12 applicant, AOR July 25, 14, ME Jan 29, 15, No update since then. 3 lines in eCAS. Its been a very long wait so far.
