What the F*** CIC doing. My boss is asking daily about my PR status.. if in few month I haven't heard any thing I have to loose my current job.

If it contains year 2015, it means they have picked up your file and you will get something soon. If it says year 2014, then its just a batch update and means nothing.

I'm also making my future employer company wait because of this delay in processing June people. Which is stupid, the sooner i start work, the sooner Canada will start benefiting from my taxes.

Not necessarily true, because not all June applicants got it at the same time (when the mass update happened some people didn't get it) - it might not be an automated update applied to everyone. On the other hand I agree it is no longer a strong indicator that you'll be getting MR/PPR like it used to be.

Called Cic call center today .... was told to call back 13 months after file transfered to ottowa.. everyone has their own standared answer to respond to client.

Yes, The third line doesn't add any weightage to the application. In CIC call centre every one has their own way to answer and there is no standard response.

The web site says processing time starts since the complete application received. But the reps refer that one as the Ottawa receives the application. Its not rational.

As sep/Oct 2014 people also getting the third line added to the applications it seems that system update but system also has lot of bugs in it(clearly).

The reson for the delay seems to be inexperienced CIC folks where they screw up to pick up the correct form to move the applications forward.

This is one of worst process have ever seen. They have the option to extend time lines as per their wish. Really no limit for the frustration.

Try telling the landlord ""Background check is in process"" then observe the reaction on his/her face.
