Hi All,

I received RPRF request today at 9 am. My application timeline:
App received : 30 June,2014
AOR : 18 Aug,2014
RCMP requested: 29 Jan,2015
RCMP sent : 10 Feb,2015
MR : 25 Feb,2015
ECAS Updated: 6th May,2015
RPRF Request: 7th May,2015

I had also received a mail from CIC on 1st May,2015 to send a valid passport for my husband(principal applicant) as it expires in July. We replied that the passport is given for renewal and we will be sending the details of the new one as soon as we get it. After that we see updates in ECAS and also got the RPRF request. Thats kind of a different experience/situation.
Thought of sharing it here so that people whose passport is going to expire soon can get it renewed as soon as possible. CIC will be looking for a valid passport when they ask for PRPF/PR visa. At least this is in my case.

HI Kumarjo,

When you are saying that ECAS updated 6th May, what update are you talking about? Does it show "Medical received" or "we have started processing your application on ....."

Thanks

So you saw the second line in your ECAS status first on 6th May and then on the 7th you got your RPRF? I thought they always start processing upon receipt on the RPRF? Correct me if I am wrong....

Thanks

Two RPRF whose application were received by June last week ....2014. I don't under stand how's CIC choose priority. It seem like that rest of all us June applicants are going through Second review.......

I actually don't know how CIC processes things. But this is how it updated in my case.

I received my RPRF today. I have updated the jun spread sheet. I see that some others from Jun,2014 also got the RPRF would request everyone to keep spreadsheet updated so will help us to understand the timeline.

I am a June 3 applicant, still havent received MR, though my GCMS notes say "recommend passed".
the last communication from CIC was in Mid-March for PCC from HK.

I have already done upfront medical, do I need to do anything to notify CIC or just wait :(.... ?

I am a June 2nd, 2014 applicant. Got my AOR on July 15th. Added spouse's documentation in December, 2014. Got the GCMS notes recently.
Th last update on my file was on Feb 10, 2015. I did not submit LOE or Employment letter, but submitted lot of additional documentation. My GCMS notes says as below

Documents provided appear to show sufficient work experience in NOC 2174, however awaiting review by officer before requesting medicals.Recommendation is " Appears to meet requirements "

What are the chances the review will get through and when can I possibly expect Medical request ? Pls answer

Hello everyone...

What if your police certificates have past the 1 year mark, after your medicals are done.

Medicals done and ECAS updated in March 2015
Police certificate expires May 2015

any advise?
