June 2014 - CEC applications

Hi,

I applied from India and My CEC application was recieved at the CIC sydney office on June 2, 204 and still now I have not got AOR acknowledgement. My application is also not returned to me. I am wondering what happened. I have sent a inquiry email giving all my details to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry email address.so far, there has been no response. Any thoughts guys ?

Thanks you so much... I got my CC charged on 12th Aug, still no AOR.. In general within how many days its expected..

Shall I send the email at this Id - CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca

Thanks, I have already sent enquiry email and also checked my application status in online link from CIC.

It says "In Progress" only. Even If I have missed any documentation( which is unlikely), they could have sent it back to me. Not sure why they are delaying on taking any action ( either issue AOR or send back application )

Hi, yes always check your spam folder. Many applicants have found the AOR there.

Wait for two more weeks and if you don't get the AOR just send an explanation email to the CIC and ask for resending the AOR.

If you're able to see your application in the ECAS that means the AOR has been created, so your file is complete and OK.

Thanks, yes, In ECAS the status shows as "In Process" and on clicking the "In Process" link it shows application received on <date>. Looks like ve to follow up for AOR email...

Any idea.. Is there chances of getting the AOR email delivered between mid night and next day early morning.. As by mistake I deleted Spam email deliverd in this period..

You can get your AOR email at any time, so it's quite possible that your AOR was in your spam folder when you had deleted it, but it's also possible you may still get it.
