There is a questions where they ask you "if you have ever been refused a visa or denied entry to any country". Ideally they are expecting this information for the past 5 years or so.

I know there have been certain cases where people have not mentioned and have got away and in some cases folks have explicitly mentioned and also provided details for the same.

So if you have some information to provide no harm in letting them know about it.

Been refused admission to or order to leave, Canada or any other country

I think this is something:
Been refused admission: Immigration or Custom officer dont allow you to enter in the country and tell you to go back from the port of the entry
Order to leave: Deport or Detain from the country

I am not sure whether my thinking is right or not but this is what I thought when I filled application..

In the schedule A background/declaration form, question 6 D asks you to diclose about your previous visa rejections (Canada and other countries) and provide reasons for the same.

You must disclose about your previous visa rejection information. If you forget to do so, you have to inform CIC later on.

Where they are asking to mention or to declare if your visa has been rejected anytime?
I did not find any question like this

I think June applicants are not far from PPR, may be a week to 10 days it should start raining PPRs...Good luck to all of us..

I am waiting for PPR. Did my medicals on feb 18th 2015... I hope days are not too far.

Your are fine.. Need to fill the missing details UCI Id/ Name, Address...etc and scan the doc and attach in the email to CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca

Hi everybody, I just received a really good news yesterday .

I applied for BOWP on Jan-25th and I received the approval yesterday, CIC is sending me the document.

I currently have a study permit and a co-op work permit(these 2 expire on April-30th 2015), when I applied for BOWP I explained this situation on a letter of explanation as I wasn't sure if I was 100% qualified holding a co-op program, but seems like that doesn't really matter as long as you are legally in Canada and also have a valid work permit(Open, PGWP or Co-Op).

BTW, Does anyone know what the(PT-PROR) stand for on the "Permit - WP-EXT / Permis - PT-PROR" line?


CEC received -> June-2nd 2014
AOR received -> July-17th 2014
MR -> Still awating
BOWP Application -> Jan-25th 2015
BOWP Approved -> March-20th 2015

i got gcms in cd format.but i checked electronic.No detailed note only 1 paper which was hand written as review require and date of file recieved and transferd.please help. Do i need to apply again.all i can see in cd is my application forms ticked everywher
