June 2014 - CEC applications

Your GCMS is one month old. You won't see any change or status report until you see "we started processing...." which you all received a few days ago.

I got started processing with 2014 year. I wont think they have really picked up our files... Its just a regular update for all applicants..

Agree with you. I also got started processing with 2014 year. I just called CIC call centre as it has been more than 13 months from the day I received AOR. He said that they cannot do anything as Background check is still under process and they have no access over that. Disappointed and annoyed with all the process. :'( :'(

As per my understading ... there is nothing in progress... fact is no one has toched our files to move to next level/stage. How come all June 1st review ppl backgroung check taking ages, while for other just 1-2 week max after medicals.

Is it possible that the person who is doing background checking for us is on a world tour and going to each and everyone's house, school, work place back home. Maybe he is getting too serious about his job. Is it possible? Just saying. ??? ???

No. It is not... files are sitting some where down the pile.

Well... then I have already started loosing my mind. Thank God, I am done with my Medical Exam. :-\ :-\

I really dont think so. PP62 is a second review applicant. And as I already called CIC Call centre. They could have told me if something was happening on our files.

I am June 02nd applicant and AOR received on July 14th.

I was very happy to see second line in online status tool - Ecas that "We have started process on 14 July 2014". This all happen after calling CIC agent about the status of my file, second line appeared in next day.

Nothing else updated...Medicals, RPRF (upfront) etc..... I got GCMS Notes last month. No Second Review recommended, but no one touched file after Medicals send to us as per GCMS notes.

CIC Agent told that Background Checks and Security Checks are in progress. Nothing is required. file is in Queue.
He advised to callback them in Dec 20th, if I don't hear anything. earlier the date they gave was Aug 25th ...Don't know how long this queue is?

I am agree with you Astro.CA.
As per my knowledge and experience with CIC, when they start process, it means they put particular file for security check. It took normally 10-15 days. I think that you guys definitely get response soon now.

I hope so or else I will be back on meds to deal with my CIC induced stress, anxiety, and depression ;D 8) 8) ;D

ECAS shows 3 lines but after that no updates

1.We received your application for permanent residence on June 25, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on July 30, 2015.
3.Medical results have been received.

Didn't get MR....have done upfront and sent in June,2015.

so it took cic 2 months to acknowledge you medical results? or the doctor didn't send it.
also did you email or scan anything related to medical to cic could you plz share with us the email address.
