What number did you call? and how you long did you wait for the answering ?

18882422100 and press 1131. I called around 11am today and wait time is less than half a minute.

Once your call is connected then don't jump directly asking about status. Better wish the person and ask how r you? I am telling you...it really helps.

October Ppl are getting RPRF.. This process is so funny,..

He was from France. some people who do not need extensive background and security check will get PR a lot faster than others,

I'm a June 9th applicant (AOR July 21st, med request Jan 22nd). I did get gcms notes in May and my eligibility was set to recommended pass.

Last year I had changed address and had notified cic. The address was updated in ECAS. Then in February this year, in ECAS the mailing address was showing my old address but the current address was correct. I sent a request in ECAS and an email to CIC (think it was Apr/May) to have the mailing address updated. So this morning when I login, I notice it only shows one address which is my current home address. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this when they log in to their ECAS? Wishful thinking I know - but I was hoping maybe they were finally looking at my file!

I only have one address, current mailing address. Also, never try to figure out their way of working cuz i finally found that's something way beyond our imagination.

Looks like he's from England... No matter where he's from... i am speechless. It could absolutely take another British or French applicant of the same background well over 13 months. CIC must be operated by some world-class genius who can mess things up in a way that people with average IQ can never imagine. The only way that I can think of is, a random VO walks into a random room picks up a random file from a random piles of files on a random day and signs approval for a random guy...

Hello Everyone,

Today, I received email stating subject "Request for Visa" and send passport(s). I replied requesting to change visa stamping to India office.

Congrats on your PPR.

I have some queries about changing stamping office from canada to India, Since I would be in similar situation when my PPR comes ( if at all it comes ) .

Are you changing your application because you went back to India after applying from canada ? Also do you have have any dependent ? Let me know what is the procedure to get the application changed . Also keep us updated on what reply and how much more delay you get from CIC .

Hi , I noticed this same thing this morning. I am June 12 applicant with Medical request on Jan 29. I had tried to change my address 5 months back. It was updated today. May be its a good sign. Its been very intriguing so far to say the least.

Hi ,

Same ECAS status changed for me as well .

I did medical in Canada and then moved to India on Feb end.I send them email with new address .But it was never updated in ECAS .Yesterday I see my new address is reflecting in the ECAS .

hi,

just want to let you know that i have a second line now:

- Medicals Results have been Received

i did upfront medicals on july4th, 2015...

Not sure if this is automated or not..
but hopefully its another sign that our applications are finally being looked at.

Same here. They used to change my address within 10 days of request, however the latest address change request was pending 2 months now, and today I can see the updated one in ECAS.

You're right. We're from the UK and have been waiting for over 13 months.

OK, I have written a joint letter to be sent to minister Chris Alexander or other officials like MPs. I suggest let's wait until the end of the month, and if still nothing happens, let's schedule a time in the beginning of August. I will paste the letter and each of us on the list should send it. The content is going to be the same for everyone, but we will sign and send it individually on the same day. We've easily got nearly 30 people and I am sure there are more to be joining. Do you guys agree?

Count me also in!

Someone from the October 2014 forum also saw the address change on their ecas. So might be updated for anyone who had incorrect address and had put a request in.
