June 2014 - CEC applications

My application was received on June 12, My medical was received on Feb 5, 15 and RCMP on Feb 23, 15. Eligibility is Recommended Pass. No movement on my file since then. Waiting for some news next week or the week after now.

Most of us who are still waiting have a very similar situation +/- a couple of days.

Also in my GCMS note it shows the due date as exactly 12 month after AOR date, for anyone who's interested in knowing...

That's the default value - it's like that for every single application. CIC seems to ignore all and any due dates in GCMS.

Even the GCMS notes would take 30 days to reach us, have you guys noticed it's always automated to be sent at exactly a 30-day point of time. It's nothing much more than an electric doc already on file, something very fast to process, but they'll just hold it and won't send it out until a month later instead of a few days. I mean what's the point it making it slow and inefficient on purpose? Ridiculous. I feel like the same might be true for CEC application (at least for June applicants), they are just holding it and not taking any steps further until the 13 months benchmark, if they can deliver that promise at all.

hey guys, today i got my another set of GCMS notes which was requested on may 29 but it shows last activity on my file was 25 feb 2015 which was the due date of my medical which i was asked by cic on jan 26 and gave me one month to complete it. after requesting medical my file was assigned to RC-9515 officer and he/she seems to be absent or on vacation. if any of June applicant waiting for nwxt step
after medical request and have their GCMS notes then plz check in eligibility section which officer is assigned to for next step and i am pretty sure it would be RC9515

I did find RC-9515 too in my notes, but looks like there are 20 more officers involved (assigned to, assigned by, updated by...). Hard to figure out who's doing what. Unnecessarily complicated and very messy.

well i agree with you there are other officers code as well but they are doing different task like criminality, security, and many but our main concern is which officer is working on eligibility section coz when first officer check eligibility and make decision, either recommended pass and trigger medical request or 2nd review for eligibility to make it recommended pass. so who got medical request are already recommended pass and then their files will go for another review to make it pass and ask for landing fees. so people who got their medical request and if they have their GCMS notes. they can see in their eligibility section file is assigned to RC9515 which will work on eligibility to make it pass and will ask for applicants to pay $490 landing fees. if u will see ur gcm notes eligibility section you file must be assigned to RC9515

I received second set of my GCMS notes today. Only difference I can see in my new notes is RPRFaid which I actually paid last month. Other than this, everything seems to be very similar.

yes, so either RC9515 too busy with express entery or on vacation. somlets wait when s/he (RC9515) will start working on our files and finalize it.

guys, need suggestion. My BWOP is gettinf expire in next 3 months from today. Should I wait or reapply again. I asked my attorney.. that guy is asking me more money for BWOP... Can i apply by myself? Just dont want o end up spending more money...

Apply your own. It's simple and there are other threads on how to fill forms.

Apply on your own. It is very eash. You just need to follow the check list and it won't cost you much.

just to add, my GCMS notes also mentioned that its recomended that i need a Police Clearance Certificate from France because i lived there for more than 6months although not continuous.. BUT CIC never communicated this to me..
so i just got the Police Clearance Certificate from France and sent it to them..
when they get to asking me for it, they will already have it. and i would have saved some time.
if they dont ask me for it, then its all good..

the applications are already waay delayed, so whatever you can do that can save some time on your application - i think you should do it.

i also doing upfront medicals too in Early July, because i havent received MR yet :/

Much appreciated your detailed inputs friend. I sent my company letter that includes my roles and responsibilities, both emailed and mailed including my application details. I hope when my application comes up for the review, they have it all the required documents. Waiting for MR, may be in a couple of weeks.
