Add me to the Spread sheet, June 14th is when they got my application. It's spouse application (married), for Paris, and I come from Luxembourg. And heading to Ontario. My medical was done some time in January or March I can't even remember.

Will this strike affect PR? I see it's still at 29 days, and that is normal.

I added you to the spreadsheet. I don't think it affects it too much. Some delays maybe, but not more than a few days I am assuming. Like you pointed out, the average is still about 29 days.

Ahh gotcha, at least they sent it back to you really quickly! Good thing you didn't lose a lot of time. That was part of my concern and reason for asking you, we hadn't received our app back but of course I was getting nervous thinking that I missed something. My husband tried to call on Thursday and kept getting a busy signal right away, so we will either try on Tuesday and/or I will email them and see if I can get a response. This whole process is frustrating and difficult but at least its out of our hands now and all we can do is wait. Good luck to you! :)

I know how you feel, but I am sure everything will be fine. Let us know if your husband gets to talk to them. I am very curious what they say and how this strike affects our applications. Best of luck! :)

We submitted the extension for the visitor visa on May 23rd, and we still haven't heard anything. His visa expires on July 7th. Do we have to do anything? As far as I know he has implied status, but what exactly does that mean?

Thank you!

Hi Thaliada,

What a great forum here!! Can I join and be part of your speadsheet? I sent my sponsorship request for my husband from Nicaragua on June 10 2013. The office in Mississauga received it on June 11, based from Canada Post tracking system. The waiting period is starting officially for me :)

Cheers and good luck to all!

that's not the UCI - UCI typically have 8 numbers. But not everybody has one, if he became a PR a while ago, then he won't have one. BUt it doesn't matter. If he doesn't have a UCI, or doesn't remember it, just leave it blank - CIC will find it if needed. Most people applying don't have a UCI and get one assigned when they get processed, so don't worry about it.

Thanks a lot Sweden as always...

Happy to hear from you always...

We'll pay online tomorrow then I'll send the docs to him on Wed...

He will just insert some docs with him like Option C, telephone bills, BC, MC with late wife, tickets with him and some western union receipts and also his Bank Statement, then sign the docs...

Hopefully he could send them to Mississauga this week...

To God be the glory...

Hello people. I looked at my online status at CIC website. It says Application Recieved, they have not metioned that they have recieved my hubby medical. Why is that? He sent his medical on May 15.

Haven't heard from others yet.But I know 2 forum members will also submit their applications soon, maybe next week. Hehehe

I'll help you look for other June/July 2013 applicants in our Manila spreadsheet.

CPC-M will start working on applications received on 1st week of June soon.

Best of luck to our applications.
