Hi everyone, just an update for those interested:
Our doctor sent all three medical forms to the london VO (instead of giving us one, sending one and keeping one). We then got a letter from CIC saying our application was incomplete and we needed to send them this form. After getting in touch with the manager of the Dr office, they get in contact with (after a week and a half of hassling) the London VO and explained the situation. Some nice person in London found my partners medical results, assigned him a UCI and quoted the medical # we needed to the Dr's office. They then gave us this number, along with a letter from them explaining what happened. We then sent this information back to Canada. It arrived on September 7th and we received sponsorship approval today (September 10th) YIPPPEEEEEEE!! So Smvi i guess you could put me down as AOR received August 22nd and approval on September 10th!

That is awesome news!!! Congrats to you and on to a speedy stage 2!!!! :D

Hi everyone,

my husband and i were also June applicants. CIC received our application June 22, 2012. I received the approval for sponsorship on August 30th, but being from quebec this was also an invitation for me to continue the process with MICC, although it also stated in the letter for CIC that the application was now en route to Havana for processing (My husband is Cuban). Quebec papers have now been filed and hoping to hear back from them by the end of the month (If anyone thinks this is too optimistic, please let me know!) Then its just waiting for Cuba for us from then on. Im going in October for a weekend visit, and then again on Christmas day for 2 weeks. REALLY hoping timing will be in our favor and he could come back with me and my family in January after the vacation (ok, for this part, it may be optimism at the highest degree... lol).

We are SUPER anxious waiting for the next stages to be completed... but nothing to do but to try to pass the time for now!!

Good luck to everyone here :)

Been 21 days since we received the sponsor approval letter... Why is it that we havent receive the PPR till now? :( MANILA OFFICE is taking foreverrrr... :(
Yap, we got our approval 7 weeks ago and no PPR yet. I noticed that 2 March applicants got their PPR from MNL in the past two days. Figure we May applicants (I know this is June thread) have another month to wait - "at LEAST"!

Got my approval today..yipeee!

If you go by the averages on waiting times (London VO spreadsheet), June applicants have 63 days till COPR. So I figure May app's have 31 days until COPR, on average.
