I called today to get information on my case, the agent said it was opened july 19th, but still no decision has been made yet.

simple straightforward case, Im US citizen and my wife is Canadian citizen, were married, no children, no criminal background, both have jobs. only thing I can think of is all the proof of a genuine marriage was a pretty thick package. lol

but now that I think about it, we had to send it with out the option C printout because it hadn't arrived yet and my fingerprints were about to expire, so my wife sent a note explaining why it wasn't included along with recent pay stubs and her T4's for the recent tax year. this could possibly be why.

I also called Call Center today and got same reply - they have started working on file on Jul 18 but haven't taken any decision yet.

Let see tomorrow updated processing times, which dates they are working on.

Don't worry about this. We also didn't send ours with Option C printout because we couldn't wait anymore
