It's frustrating to see June moving so slowly. I thought that with the postal strike last month, they might have received fewer applications than the average and so would be moving through June quickly.

It's frustrating to see someone whose application was received on the 7th approved on July 15th, and they're still working on June 7th apps a week later. Either they have a lot of June 7th apps or they're just working very slowly.

I was reading on cic website.It seems they are introducing new changes to the system.Not radical changes bt you can read them. I found new ways to contact cic via emails

They introduced a new rule so they send email as soon start processing and this is the case of our friend above, and they put something called

quality assurance program, I don't know if this is new, seems they changed the format of the forums as well. All these changes happened since few days ago and i think this explains why they are getting slower these days, what do you think???

I didn't see the new rule where they send an email once they start processing but i did see where they have the quality assurance program. I don't know why they're getting slower, when the time changed from i think 42 days down to 40 days a little while ago.

They introduced a new ID no Universal Client Identification
and a new email address and updated the forms for new applications, the new email address CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca.

I am 100% sure these changes are the reason for the slow process so the staff can familiarize themselves with it
