What do you mean by additional docs? Your passport and photos ahead of passport request or more documentation of the relationship in this case? If the former, I don't suggest sending in your passport until they ask for it.

hi junies, did anyone send in additional docs without the cic asking for more? that is, while still in process. i dont want to wait when they will ask for it since i just found out i had to send that one in. don't want delays. and ive already made one.

Fax them the documents that you wish to add with a cover letter including the names of both, receipt number. Give them as much information about the two of you as possible to make it easier to them. FAX: 905-803-7391 if you are still in the sponsorship part of the process otherwise send to the processing office where the PR will be handled

an advisory on marriages, a document issued by statistics office.. it was on the list as cenomar, but i dd not attach it cause i thought its meant for single ppl only, then i found out recently if married ppl get it, its in the form of an advisory on marriage.

think, they would want the originals on that document. but thanks for the fax info.

Ah ok, I wasn't familiar with that document as I'm not with Manila. I agree you should send the original by mail and make sure you identify who is the primary applicant and who the sponsor, and have your name, date of birth, client ID, and file number (if you have those, you could also use your receipt number) enclosed with that so they can match it to your file. I'd say send it to the VO because it sounds like CPC-M has already done the sponsorship approval and transferred the file to Manila.

Welcome to June... next is another waiting game I'm afraid - but we all should be used to the by now :) Good luck! :)

I got my passport back! Visa issued Sept 6th, and I collected it today.
So excited, now I just have to land (aiming for mid-Oct).

Good luck to all the other members of the June group ... here's hoping for speedy processing. :)

Thanks!
I think our applicaiton being very straightforward helped with the quick processing - no kids, no previous marriages, no age difference, no language difference etc, and we lived together prior to our application (and have a mortgage together).
I really feel for people who havemore complicated circumstances and those who have to go through background / security checks and stuff like that - I feel very fortunate to have my visa this quickly.

Wow you are fast! Congratulations!
I hope we will follow you soon!

Congratulations on the visa! And congratulations to everyone who has had their file transferred! Hopefully the wait is not to long from the file transfer. Great to see things moving along for many people.'
