Yesterday, Sunday, Sep 25 evening Dubai time (possibly morning time of Canada and afternoon time of UK), my address went missing after Friday night status change to RBVO.

I am thinking the e-Cas update as the people say is third party company, maybe or address missing is an automatic procedure ...

I have to hurry to secure my police certificates, as they take time to issue one (of course not in Dubai :) )

Hi Xnista, this is Shahzad. My status is RBVO since 10th May 2011. How long does it take to start the next stage???

Glad if you could answer.

Go for this excel sheet maintained by mandibraxton to see how is the progress. Even you are there! In my opinion 2-3 month to reach 'In Process' but I was wondering how come your status has not changed to 'In Process'?! The people with similar timeline like you they reached. These days are your turn. Keep checking your status. All the best.

Thanks for the advice. I asked this question because of the excel sheet. So many other Londoners who applied after me have already received their MR and are in process. Thanks anyway.

The lawyers and paralegals say according to their experience, e-Cas is not accurate. Plus I have seen unbelievable mistakes from CIC, CIO-S, CHC, etc. I reccomend you send an inquirying email to your visa office (CHC). I remember once I read somewhere that CIO-S sent the file by mistake to another visa office!
I, myself, I will send an inquiry in 2 months if I do not hear anything from them, at least to make sure my file is there with them.

Dear Shahzadyousaf28, its the best option to send ur VO a case specific inquiry, and they will reply u in 10 days max.

Look you have nothing to loose choosing this way, rather you will get to know the current situation.

BTW a lot of PK applicants, are facing the same problem, there are people who got RBVO even before you, but still waiting for further process.

You can compare your timeline here,

Thank you Nashe_31 for your advice. I may just do what you are proposing. I am going to see my lawyer soon and will discuss with him. The other day, the Metropolitan Police department sent them my PC and copy to an other address in London. They also replied on email to me when I enquired from them and writing down both addresses where they sent the document. when my lawyer sent the copy of same (scanned copy), the CHC came back saying lets wait for original. I could not believe it as post in UK are delivered very fast and the Police had posted it on 09 September and we wrote to CHC after maybe about 10 days i.e around 20th. Any way I have forwarded the email from the police to my lawyer which he was asking to be sent to CHC. Hoping for the best.
Regards
Shahzad

Sorry Xnista, missed your mail the other day. Yes, yours and Nashe advice are similar and logical. I will be writing to them sooner than later. Thanks for keeping up with my questions.

Shahzad.

My today rough estimation is
from PER 1 month to RBVO
then 2 months to In Process
then 3 months to medical report or police certificate!!!
So celebrate, if everything goes alright next year this time you are definitely landed and worring about tax payment :D ;D
possibility of rejection while case in IN PROCESS>>>? what about sowhatifimround refund?

At any stage there is a possibility of rejection. PER does not guarantee PPR.

I was checking the cap as of Oct 3rd, only 2,565 people accepted. I am wondering if this is good or this is too low, as the year ends. Only two NOC code has the cap reached. I hope poor guys from 2008 to get their reply and all before speeding up period get cleared as soon as possible, because otherwise with those backlogs, we can not expect our these days processing to be in regularity.

There is a big fluctuation for shifting from RBVO to IN PROCESS, within same visa office, within same NOC, within same nationality, I do not understand why?!

Little by little I am getting sure that CHC London is processing some NOCs on priority like 3111 ...

Still e-cas is showing RBVO. My target is 3 month after RBVO to reach In Process. So inshalla for Jan 15, 2012 I will get my New Year gift.

inshala by new year we should get at least our medicals, but am so afraid of my expired aeo!! Expired las sep but I applied 2 months b4 expirey date, but this should not make a prob, in rules its very clear u should apply b4 aeo get expired, all I can do is wait !!

Get your CAIPS or GCMS. I do not know which one will apply to us nowadays. But this will help you to know what is happening inside your file. I am planning to get one too, but around Jan. My assumed time line is like this (By His Grace):
RBVO to In Process: 2-3 months (max end of Dec),
In process: 1 to 2 months
MR and PPR: 1 month
Passport for visa: 1 month
So total: end of Feb 2012 to end of April 2012
If they do not change too many things, because CIC and Visa offices are not predictable. They do not report to anybody and there is no International Amnesty to question them ;D :D
