Hello! a quick question!

September 6th the applicants for our profession have increased to 48. We all know the cap is 500 and the total cap is 10.000 (currently 1698). Do you think we should be worried or it is still very low? (we are submitting our application at the end of October)

PS: I know that no one can be sure about these numbers, caps, estimates etc but I would just like your personal opinion!
Also, I t would help if anyone knows the last year's total applicants and specialist physicians number.

thank you

Lol...! I was also laughing loudly when i read the comments on my post, Mandie ur gender has become a query now, we all r curious to know about, Plz clarify it ;D

Hi Murtaza,

I too have applied under the same NOC as yours. I have some queries to make since you r my senior with regards to applications. Do you think we can make it to canada. Do they really recognize our job experience as much as the Nurse or other job profiles. Secondly, I have myself given the work experience data to my employer and they inturn printed the same on a company letter head and gave me. However the job description was not exaggrated. It was just put in simple english. Will VO recognise the same or will ask for detailed one....

Please reply. Waiting for your reply. Will be really helpful to me.

Thanks and All the best.

So far as the occupation falls within the 29 eligible ones, job experience will be recongnized. There is no special consideration given to any NOC as per my understanding.

So far as the reference reflects the duties listed under the Ministerial Instruction, you should be ok. There is no need for fanciful wording and you should not copy and paste from the ministerial instruction either. Hope this helps

Thanks and All the best.

well...! my dear I have no idea about Loss Adjuster's jobs in Canada :o :'( i spoke to a friend in Canada he said there are few companies & u can apply there but to find a job related to our experience is a bit difficult I guess.
I also made my work experience followed the details available in Human Resources and Skills Development Canada & I found most of the duties/JD's were same as we perform & as per my knowledge our few (4 OR 5) J D's should match with the J D's given at Human Resources and Skills Development Canada's website ( http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/report-eng.do?action=Search&titleKeyword=1233 ), I also used the simple English but did not copy & past from the website.

Mandie, cannot find my name there. Anyway, here are the infos you are asking once again. NOC# 0811, VO office is London, 1st AOR/PER April 11, Status: RBVO.

Regarding the filter I am talking about, since you are using excel, just select the whole column of Visa Office, click on Data, Filter and then check on Auto Filter. It creates a drop down menu indicating all the values in that column. You select one of them and the whole table will only show the values of the one Visa Office that has been selected. Or just send the excel file to me, I will give option on all after correcting the format. That way you can filter by date, PER, RBVO etc.

Regards
Shahzad.
Hi, I have added the filter to the tracker. It is wonderful! Makes life a bit more easier...Mandie

Thanks Mandie and Murtazah, For all the encouraging words. By the was my JD qualifies for a Claim examiner job, are there job offerings in Canada for the claim examiners.....
