Hi Friends,

I am one of you. June 2011 Applicant. I had applied in NOC Code 1233 (FSW)....

got my first AOR around 25 days back. Wen I checked my status on cic some days back, it was showing "Received by local VO".

Today, I also got a letter of acknowledgement from My Local VO (New Delhi)..

Kindly help me with the information, what are chances of anybody getting interviewed by Canadian High Commission and under what circumstances they do so.

NOC code 1233 is one of the wanted NOCs on CIC website and as per my immigration consultant, it takes less time to process the application under wanted NOCs. What could be the estimated timelines for processing of my application ??????

I wish Best of Luck for all the aspirants and hope to meet you all in CANADA.

Take Care
Vikas

the visa officer decides whether you will be interviewed or not, you can never tell what are the chances though.

As for the timeline, just sit back and relax, I see you are doing well so far. Immigration process takes time and is not an overnight decision. It will take few months until you hear again from your VO and hopefully it will be the medical request then PPR.

As for your second question, if your occupation is not under the 29 NOC occupations then you are not eligible for PR and your application will be rejected. Unless of course if you are applying under FSW 2, which is a different category...

For now, you don't need to worry...

Hi senior and fellow applicants

As I inform in the blog earlier that I got NER due to my job responsibilities is not match (case officer think) with the occupation category I applied.I am going to submit my file very soon. I am going to submit another JD where I will mention all my major responsibilities. However, I am confused that-
1. should I modify my earlier Job responsibility and add some new responsibilities I done

or

2. should I keep my previous Job responsibilities as it is and add some new responsibilities. Pls reply.

Helo guys, & hi mandie.

I just check my e-cas now & it appears "IN-PROCESS" just FOUR DAYS ago after my 2nd AOR. Is this something that I can be bothered of without going to RBVO in e-cas? Please shed some light.
Many thanks.

And one thing guys,

I'd received my 2nd AOR last september 14. And now my e-cas shows that I'm "IN-PROCESS" stating that
"Your application was received and we started processing on September 15." Is this normal without going to RBVO first in the e-cas? Or is just that sometimes e-cas is not that 100% accurate & reliable?
Your thoughts are highly appreciated.

Congratulations! I wouldn't worry about not going to RBVO. Hopefully you will get MR soon. Ecas is not 100% accurate, as it does not reflect all the activities going on at VO. Ecas status include: 1. Elibility Review Complete, 2. Received by Visa Office, 3. Medical Received and 4. Decision made...Hey be happy cos u r almost there!...Mandie
