Your file is opened and probably you will have an assigned UCI number by now. Your profile shows your Background Check has moved from NA1 to IP1 and will move back to NA (2) once your Medical is passed.

In Initial Stage, about 3 separate checks are conducted

1. Eligibility Test (You never know about the results unless you order Notes or PPR is made)
2. Admissibility on Medical Ground (Medical Pass)
3. Admissibility on Security Ground (IP1)

So, in your case Schedule Form, A is requested as a part of (1) Eligibility Test (Assumption), Your (2) Medical results are pending, and (3) IP1 has been started which will be completed after both Admissibilities criteria's are met.

Once admissibility assessment is completed your Background will move from IP1 to NA2.

NA2 will not change unless your Eligibility Test is also passed.

After that final A40 Fraud and Misrepresentation Test is performed on all 3 again. Once this final check starts your Background Check will move from NA2 to IP2.

IP2 can take 3 months if there are many red flags or doubts of Fraud or Tempered Documents. Most common delays are seen by the New Delhi Visa Office, especially regarding employment certificates.

However, if an officer was completely satisfied at the initial stage and there were no criminal traces and security risks found during IP1 then you can expect to get PPR after 20 days on average after IP2 was started.

Additional documents can be asked at any stage for any of the above-stated steps, however, change in profile status will help you predict when you may expect PPR.

Final Notes:

Taking a look at the speed of your profile it looks like your PPR will be sent in November.

I have a question about RPRF. I got a request for this today. I've passed medicals, but they don't have my background check yet because the FBI is slooooooooooow. But does this request mean that I've passed the eligibility/completeness?

Can't say 100% but probably yes. Most of the time RPRF is only requested when CIC believes that candidate is eligible and admissible.

Hi mine is 28th July AOR , Medicals pass on 10th August. Called IRCC help line number they told my Criminality check and R10 Completeness is also pass . But my Background Check status is Not Applicable. I never saw it moving to in progress . Where am I now . Is it NA1 or NA2 . Can someone plesee help

what no. did u call them on? what questions did they ask to check to know you were the person/candidate who has applied. asking this because i have applied through a consultant but i do have the login details for my online cic profile, so in case i call them, just wanna be sure i don't mess up anything.

My AOR is July 4th. My wife's FBI PCC was requested as ADR last week and I have been given 60 days. Her finger prints were rejected and we had attached proof of re submission.

Same with my case . It changed to being uploaded last Thursday even though I had not provided any additional docs apart from those submitted during AOR

NO I did not receive any email. I think it got changed on past Friday.

i just submitted a Case Specific Enquiry to cic but when it showed me that my query has been successfully sent, it also said there that if my application is within processing times then cic will not get back with a reply. anyone else got same message if they tried to raise CSE? is it a good idea to call to know visa office and progress of application?

I'm aor july 12 and medical passed on the same day as you, still no update for me too. I was checking on the tracker and I think there are a lot of people with the same case, specially from those who got medical passed on july 24,25 and 26. I don't know if there a reason.

But people with same AOR date (14th July) has already moved to NA, that may be because of the Visa Office didn't hear any good reviews abt CIO Sydney.

my visa office is mexico city, the thing that I found in common is with people who got medical passed between july 24-26

but i'm just making a guess because I can't find another thing in common

Is there a PNP-Outland whatsapp group for july AOR? ( mine AOR was 25 july 17) - Can someone add me to the July whatsapp group?

I was looking over the myimmitracker website and got really excited to see that several PNP-Outland started to receive Medical Pass, and even people from after my AOR date. On Aug 19th I received CIC email with an update but for my surprise it was not medical pass, instead it was the technical glitch ("your action is required").

However, I noticed that they assigned an UCI number for my spouse (I already had one because i have a tourist visa), and also noticed that some of the descriptions changed. ( i just read the whole thread, i didn't know anything about IP1, IP2, NA1, NA2).

My BG Check used to be Not Applicable and now it changed to: Your application is in progress. We will send you a messagewhen we start your application background check

Does it mean i'm in IP1?
Is it possible to be in IP1 without have received Medical Pass?
