Hi. It's a good thing that medical is passed. Congrats. Was the medical upfront? Do you know the date by chance when you saw it passed?
Processing is around 6+ months these days for manual processing. IRCC is also trying to screen applicants better because many parents aren’t returning home after their visit or if they no longer qualify and pay for supervisa insurance. To be fair allowing a 5-7+ yr visit is confusing many people and many are making the false assumption that they will be able to stay in Canada longterm.
any movement for anyone ?
For us, medical passed on Dec 02 but no updates thereafter. Its super frustrating

SUPERVISA QUESTION FOR MY PARENTS :
- My parents's visitor visa got rejected two times. Last we applied in October 2025, and I'm thinking of applying for Supervisa this time, but not sure which is the right time to apply. My father is still working in India and is getting retirement in September 2027. My mother is housewife.
- Reasons for Refusals were same in the both applications : however we addressed all three generic reasons (lack of family ties, financials, purpose of visit) in the second application, and second visitor visa application got rejected within 6 days of applying. We provided home ties such as working in a job, farming duties and grand parents living in India and property value assessment by CA.
- My another question is what is minimum duration of stay I should state in my invitation letter ? My father is still working so he can only get one month to two month maximum vacation to visit me in Canada. Is it okay If I apply for 2 months of stay in Supervisa application?
- They are not going to stay in Canada for longer time, how do I convince visa officer ?

1. For a supervisa, they apply with your NOA, medical and one year of insurance. Since for 6 month of more visits, say that they are coming for 6 months and if approved then only stay for 2.
2. Reasons are not generic. Family ties for them are children under 22 or a spouse who doesn't apply and stays behind. Financials is cash in the bank so around $10k cash per person for a 2-3 week visit. Ties for each of them are job letters with approved leave, business, income property etc. Both parents need to show ties to return, not just one with a job. How long was visit?
3. Show they are leaving with ties to return as in 2.
Applied on July 8th. Still Waiting.. I saw from whatsapp group that People who applied on June 11th, got PPR yesterday. Hopefully, few more days, hoping for positive result.
