Yea, I felt the same way too seeing July applicants on Reddit and other places. Even some August/September applicants gettin PPR in Jan.

But, truly, every case is different, and you can't know what to expect. I'm hoping for you to get good news soon as well!I

I ordered my notes just to see what's happening and it looks like we are just waiting on the VO officer to open our file to review it. Let's hope it is soon. Would be a miracle since it has only been 8 month. IRCC wait time says for July applications another 5 more months on average.

Principal applicant is working in oman so i guess the vo is abhu dhabi as well. Where your pa resides?

Oh wow! Yes very similar timelines! He is working in Qatar - I believe all people working/residing in the Middle East are processed in Abu Dhabi. They have a reputation for being slow however we still have time as it states typically 12 months to process.
