I am not writing here that much since nothing has changed so far, applied on July 21, took the test in Sep, and my language was completed a week ago on Dec 14, still waiting for Prohibition and physical. there are only a few people from the July batch who are waiting! travelled 4 times, and was absent for about 120 days, I also renewed my passport from back home and I'm thinking maybe that's the reason it's taking so long! ( I was a refuge, renewed my passport via mail, and have never travelled back home and never even used that passport) I dono why t h did I even renewed my passport! I always used RTD

lets hope they don't treat us like 2022 or 2021 applicants. they seem to forget about past years applicants once a new year comes...
The processing time will come down if they process 2022 or 2021 and people will start pressurizing them more. Newer faster processing would look good on management presentation.

yeah that's right. I think the problem is there's no accountability for IRCC's speed. We've been waiting for a visitor visa for over 6 months for one of my relatives and the expected processing time is 22 months. We can't even complain about it because of the randomly created processing time. Imagine applying to visit Canada for a vacation and having an open application for 2 years lol. it is a bit absurd.

also another weird thing about the expected processing time is that it jumped from 10 something months to 22 months, which is really weird cuz what happened? did they discover old applications? Like if it has been a month, then yeah changing the timeline from 10 to 11 makes sense, but 10 something to 22 months is crazy lol
