AOR: Jul 31
Test complete: Aug 22

LPP: Nov 29

I got an update in tracker today. Oath scheduled Jan 8, 2024.

Sep 11, 2023: Citizenship test status has been updated to Completed.
Sep 1, 2023: Scheduled for citizenship test
Aug 28, 2023: Background verification status has been updated to Completed.
AOR: Aug 4, 2023
Applied: JUL 6. (Single)
Dec 4, 2023: Language skills
Dec 4, 2023: Physical presence
Dec 4, 2023: Prohibitions

But I haven't received any invitation for oath yet. Congrats to those who has received updates also this week.

Completed test on Sep 1 and only got LPP completed a week ago, also Scarborough office. So, I guess you're fine. They are just incredibly slow.

average test to LPP for Scarborough seems to be around 3 months. If that holds, you should see some movement around first week of Jan.

It takes about 3 weeks for both "Fingerprints received" and if applicable, "Background completed" status to update after the fingerprints have been sent to IRCC.

You can do two things if it is taking a while:

1. Contact RCMP: You will need the DCN number you may have got from the fingerprinting agency. Note: The response takes a while. In my case I received an RCMP reply after my status had been updated in tracker. There is also a phone number for CCRTIS but I never managed to reach them over phone.

2. Reply back to the email that sent you a fingerprinting request. You will get an auto-reply saying that we don't respond to status requests. But in many cases mentioned on the forum, the status updated in tracker soon after. I think this is probably not making a difference and IRCC was going to update it any way soon.

3. Order GCMS notes: Your fingerprints may have been received and you may have passed criminality check. But there may be other checks in progress that are preventing background being completed. You may be able to find out if this is so from GCMS notes. The notes are unlikely to provide you with any useful info to speed up your application.

AOR August 21st, but got emailed on August 28th
FPP requested Sept 14
Test scheduled Sept 22
flew back to Canada to give FP and take the test.
Test completed Oct 4th
BG check completed Oct 24th

Nothing since then
