I am in a similar situation, I see a lot of people on here indicating lighting-fast processing. I am not sure if this is because they are paper-based and my application is online-based.

I noticed my AOR letter says Sydney case processing Centre, I am not sure if that has something to do with it, but as I recall years gone by Sydney office was infamous for having significant delays in processing all types of applications. Also, whenever I try to call IRCC I am always prompted to call back later due to the high call volume even when I call 2 minutes after the phone line opens.

My AOR says Sydney too. I had a ghost update on 7th Oct as well. Since then nothing. :/

My online friends who applied in June just got fingerprint requests last week ! Seems like they are slowly picking pace
