I am currently seeking help and guidance regarding my Permanent Residency (PR) application status and my employment situation. On an open work permit (NO LMIA) and have been contemplating changing my employment to progress further in my career and improve my work and life balance.
My question is whether changing my employment would affect my PR application in any way. I submitted my PR application on December 27, 2021, received AOR on July 29th, 2022, and recently, on January 19th, 2023, I received an email from IRCC requesting my pay stubs, T4, and Confirmation of Employment, which I have provided.
The prolonged wait on my PR application is becoming increasingly frustrating. Any advice or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
