Sorry, what do you mean by details update on ecas and gckey?
When you get your file number and UCI (with AOR1 and Biometric) you need to link it to GCKey which is a portal that all your updates will sit in. It'll show your timeline as progress happens and will have messages that you may have missed in your email. You need to create a proper login for this with security questions you need to save somewhere. If you lose the credentials, you can't reset it using some two factor authentication.

ECAS is another system which you don't need to have credentials for. You just need to submit your UCI or file number and your last name along with birth date and birth country. It gives you a high level progress report on your application.

GCKey linked portal should update in real time. ECAS updates daily. But right now there's a lag in the update because of the speed at which they're processing applications.

You can google GCKey or ECAS and find more info including the link to access them.

Also, what we meant by this message was that even though we're getting the updates from ircc, this information has not been updated in those systems. We assume file movement will happen after the systems are updated to show our progress.

You're welcome. We never got a temporary file number so we're unsure what the difference is, but our file number starts with F followed by numbers. Totally ten digits including the F.
