Oath is scheduled for December 3rd, 2021... A relief..

DM was June 29th 2021.

I think the maddening thing about this process is that there is no real order. DM is August and still nothing pertaining to Oath. I just wish we could get some insight as to how this works.

I agree, I've had DM since August 16th from Mississauga office, nothing till now. I was supposed to travel this December, but nervous in case they schedule when I'm out. I don't want to have to reschedule. It's just a virtual ceremony, shouldn't they be pulling resources nationwide to speed up the process? Test taken since June 26th and July 2020 applicant as well.

I also have a similar timeline. July 2020 applicant, AOR - Nov 2020 | Test Invite(and pp copy) - Oct 15th | Test taken - Oct 30th | Test completed - Nov 2nd | Hamilton office.
Language, Physical & Prohibitions - In Progress.

Could you please elaborate on the date of the test taken and update it as completed?

Our (family of 3) paper application for citizenship got delivered on April 15, 2021, and AOR came on July 23, 2021.
We looked into the Old ECAS and it shows that processing has started effective Sep 9, 2021, but we are not sure why the BG check has not yet been completed. Usually, the BG check gets completed within a few days from the processing date shown in the old ECAS.

Is it normal? please advise

Got test invite last week, passed knowledge test this morning, scored 20/20

You can take the test anytime of the day, even at 12 midnight.
The room you are sitting for the test should be well lit, no distractions or people around and your face should be clearly visible on the webcam.

I passed my test this morning. I planned to write it around 6:30-7AM but it was complete dark outside, and with my room lights on, it was still dark on webcam.
Around 9:30AM there was enough natural light and webcam pictures were looking good.

Read the Discover Canada book twice and you should score 20. Good luck!

For this, have second thought to withdraw my daughter application.

I sent my application package back in July 2020, AOR received in Nov 12, 2020 and background check is completed on Feb 20, 2021.
and then there was no update at all... It is frustrating that everyone else received at least interview or test invitation.. but why mine is so slow?

I applied from Calgary and single applicant (Not a family)
Is there anyone like my situation?

I just saw an August 2019 applicant in the same situation. While I saw some applicants applied March 2021 already received their oath invitations. I don't know why the delay if your background check is completed. It's puzzling.
