you probably should. just in case they do invite you during the time you are away, then trying to reschedule is probably longer wait, guessing by what others said in the forum. but I guess it is up to you at the end of the day.

I sent a request via web form today. Hoping to get a favourable response.

Friends,
My wife and I passed the test today. We studied Discover Canada (pdf) 1-2 times and then just did practice test online once from following resources:

http://www.onlinecitizenshiptest.ca
http://www.apnatoronto.com
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/
http://citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz
http://www.vsoul.com/onlinetest/canada_citizen_test/
http://www.citizenshipsupport.ca/

Experience on citizenship test day
Test was scheduled at 1:30 pm. I applied with wife and minor child. Received test invite for wife and myself. Realized that no need to bring along child or documents for child to the test center.
We reached test center around 1 pm at Scarborough. Lots of people were there.

1. First step was to get in the line to meet officer at the first counter. Officer sees your invite letter and gives you prohibition declaration (Green form) to fill.
2. Once we completed the form and showed it to the same officer, we were asked to wait at the waiting area meant for the test candidates.
3. Around 1:25 pm, we were asked by another officer to show an id proof, given the computerized answer sheet, asked to pick up pencil from the basket at the door and go inside the test room. Family members were asked to sit far from each other.
4. Test instructions were given by the facilitator and then we were given question set to complete the test of 20 questions in 30 minutes.
5. Test was relatively easy than practice tests online on vsoul and youtube. We completed it before time. If you are scoring 80%-85% in online tests, you will be just fine.
6. After handing over the answer sheet to the facilitator, we were asked to wait for the interview with the officer at the interview counters. There were 5 interview officers. 1 each on 5 counters.
7. My wife and I were called together to interview as family. Officer took our Green form, Passports, PR card and Health card. I showed my driving license as well as id proof. She asked brief questions on where do we work, live and for how long, and our most recent trip out of Canada. I think this was just to check our communication skills. Landing paper and IELTS results were not asked. Even my wife's name change proof (marriage certificate) which I sent in the application was not asked to verify original). Passports and our cards were returned to us after verification.
8. She repeatedly asked if we have provided all information correctly and have no police or judicial matters currently open. We signed the declaration.
9. Officer informed us our test scores and confirmed that she has no concerns with our application and that we (all 3 of us) have met all eligibility criteria for the citizenship. Also asked us to attend oath ceremony in 2-3 months time ( look for email notification) and try to bring child to the ceremony and if not possible to bring child then bring atleast child's PR card and landing document along with ours.

Thats it. Happy to be Canadian citizen soon.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for all or any help you must have provided me, reading other peoples case also helps gauge and avoid your own mistakes.

Tip - Please don't compare your case timeline with someone else, it leads to anxiety. Its a red flag, if it takes way to long though, other than that everything should be processed in due time.

THE KEY IS TO BE PATIENT AND POSITIVE!

All the best to everyone on this journey.

next step - Passport!

PEACE OUT!

OH CANADAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
