I am 2019 July applicant, Haven't received my test invite yet. Other than waiting, any suggestions on what can I do to understand the status? Call cic or webform? CIC website says they cannot tell the status.

You can use the webform and they will let you know via email (usually within about a week) but the only information they gave me was "we can confirm the local office has received your application and is working on it"

If you call you may get a bit more info, you can also request a copy of the GCMS notes which will also give you a bit more information but I wouldn't think a test is too far behind for you now

Yeah if there was first request, and if that has expired, a second one coming your way for sure. And unfortunately that's delays it by another 3 weeks. Well if it doesn't, you are lucky

Such an inefficient unit to process long due application. Any active member in this group will know, the finger print expires in a year and there should be a 2nd finger print request. However, CIC may be realized this after I inquired almost a month after my online test. Now submitted my 2nd finger print and almost sure after a month they will ask for my interview. I still don't understand why don't they process simultaneously?? really frustrated......

Did you get the invitation by email or from ECAS? we have similar timeline in Vancouver as well

Received online test invite email today, May 07. The test can be taken between May 10- May 30. Will post an update once I’ve taken the test.

IT looks the same for me still.. Nothing changed on my ECAS

Just logged in to the new ECAS site, and to my surprise, it says "expect an email soon with the test invite for May 14th"(haven't yet received the mail though).
The old site just had the "in process" status for me for a long time. Finally glad to see some movement after almost 2 years...
