Yes, it is. It's actually good for you, especially if you don't intend to move to Canada before May. The visa they issue expires on the first anniversary of your medical result. If they issue a visa now, without a new medicals, you'll be forced to finish your landing process by May. IRCC won't want to put you in that situation; hence the need for a new medicals. I recommend you do it fast. New medical request often suggests your PPR is days or a few weeks away. All the best

I would call IRCC and double check before paying $300. Medicals should be good for at least a year
They request a remedical when the expiry of the current one is approaching and processing will go past the expiry.
Hard to say. They often extend the med validity and yours is still valid. I had to redo the med after the first one expired but my processing time was really long.I tried to argue but as you can guess its didnt work haha. I would call and ask since the med is not cheap, but unless its some kind of mistake youll have to do it.

Is there anything worry about? What should I expect next?

I got the RPRF request since November 2018, immediately after Sponsor was approved;fast forward to now.. we are still at "Medicals Passed" stage...awaiting BGC.

Dont send any more than 20. There is a reason they have written ‘maximum’ in bold on the checklist.

BCG has not started for us also, they went dead silent. PA from? Looks like Sydney office is quite slow.

No, it was transferred directly to Sydney Australia on Nov 30th, got an email saying that they started processing on the Dec 10. They were really quick sending medical etc but since 2 months they are dead silent, BGC not started.
