Hello Friends, Merry Christmas. I am so happy and excited to see the way my spouse file processed at Mississauga center. She got the PPR email as well. I hope all our processing will be done soon whose files are still in process.

My Question is that, If my wife flies from India with her COPR via London, Does she need UK Visa ??? Some of my friends recently told me that you must have UK visa if you travel through UK. But what I was thinking that as far as my wife has COPR of Canada she will be fine.

Please let me know your experience. Thank you guys....

No she dont need visa to transit through UK if she got valid Canadian visa. She will have a single entry visa sticker on her passport aside the COPR.

Having CoPR from Canada has nothing to do with travel requirements to other countries. If an Indian citizen requires a visa to transit through the UK, then your spouse must have a valid visa prior to her departure

no for transit, we don't need a visa for uk or any other country except US.

She doesn't need Direct Airside Transit Visa (DATV) since she will be issued Canadian Immigrant Visa. COPR is not valid for traveling via commercial vehicles (i.e. airlines, etc). Either Visa or PR card is required.

As Long as she's not changing airport in the UK, she doesn't need transit visa.

Hi Guys,

Need your help and suggestion. My wife submitted her passport to NDVO via VFS on Nov 19th, and the VFS tracker website was showing the file is under process since Nov 21st. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the passport back with the stamp?

after a little over 4 months of waiting, I finally got a response. My application was returned to me becuase of a missing signature.

Just wondering what kind of a person one has to be to have my file on hold for 4 months and instead of requesting an additional form like many others, they decide to return it. I guess they're just doing their job. oh well.
