PR Card received (they've used the picture that I gave on the landing interview). That's it, the whole process is finally over for me. Obviously, I won't have any other updates but I'll try to continue here to help other people the same way I've been helped.

Thanks to everyone for the knowledge and helping me cope during this extremely time and emotionally consuming process. The time spent here significantly increased the chances of my application to be successful and also decreased my anxiety and frustration. It only shows that an engaged community with similar goals can have a meaningful positive impact on people's lives.

P.S.: I'm also very glad that I ditched the need for a fucking expensive lawyer. :D

Hi everyone,

My interview is in three days and I am preparing things to bring.

I have one question regarding this.

In call in mail, it required me to bring
Ø If you are currently employed but were receiving welfare or social services benefits at or since the time that you submitted your application for permanent residence, please bring proof of employment, proof of income and termination of benefits with you to the above-noted interview. If you are currently in receipt of welfare or social services benefits, please bring a written explanation explaining your situation.

Does anyone have same requirement? Or do you guys know what i should do if I haven't received any welfare and not working right now?

Please advise.

Is your interview at London Ontario Visa Office?

No.. in edmonton!
Oh okay because London Visa Office is popular for asking about that
Are you the sponsor or PA?
They just want to know how you guys are supporting yourselves so if any of you work provide them with Pay slips or if you guys have bank savings provide them with a bank statement, or if you are supported by family provide them with letters from family explaining that they help you guys with a copy of their bank account, if you are looking for a job provide them with evidence etc..

Hello. I am August 2018 app. My file was sent to London, Ontario on May 1 which will be the office where I go for a landing appt (when that time comes hopefully). Just wondered if anyone had experience with this office. I have heard nothing since April 4 for SA. The notes say that it was transferred from Montreal to London in May for workload re-distribution. Thank you for your time.
