They must have done a bulk upload if we're all getting the same status! Lol :D

MR line also added to ecas for my husband today.

Has anyone else noticed that there's a lot of us on this, and August's thread, who got Medical Received today?

Do you think it's odd? Or am I being paranoid? :o

I'm just hoping it's not me being bad-minded but it does seem a bit strange....

From this morning my wife's ecas got 4th line, Medical Received. So now she has following lines:

1) We received your application for permanent residence on July 8, 2015.
2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 9, 2015.
3) We started processing your application on September 23, 2015.
4) Medical results have been received.

Seems like file is moving.

I was thinking this too, also I noticed a lot of July and August applicants went in process on Oct 6th. Maybe they do things in batches? But at different VO's I don't know how this would work...

I got the medical line today as well...strange. You are right, we are going through different visa offices, so I guess this is Mississauga adding the line?

Hmmmm, maybe. It just seems strange. Especially because of the variations in application dates. I'm pleased to get the MR line on eCAS but the shine's been taken off it because of the amount of app's receiving the same status. It makes it feel less significant in terms of our files being genuinely looked at, if you know what I mean?

Bulk processing streamlines admin processes. Streamlining is a good thing.
At least we all know there is progress. How it's done matters little as long as things are moving.
That's how I see it.

Yes, I agree with you, as I said earlier I'm pleased to see MR on eCAS. However, I still think it's odd that it's almost right across the board irrespective of Visa Office.

Oh well, as long as there's progress, it doesn't really matter! ;D

Do you think medical officers are only in one location? Maybe we were all in the same batch...

I'm happy about it too, but part of me is concerned that all these "events" happening so early will just mean one long period of nothing until DM. The other part of me is thinking maybe this means it'll be over faster haha fingers crossed its the latter for us all :)

Yes all medicals go to UK for processing and evaluation. When your app goes to VO and is IP they then request this report with IME # submitted with app.
It seems they then do bulk ecas update to advise this step is complete for masses in similar timeline.
Seems to be an improvement of communications. And yes now we wait. But there is always the opportunity to request case notes. Which I have just done and will do again the day our notes arrive.

Mine also updated with "Medical Received" :D

I hope they are processing July applications on a fast track, let's see if this pace remains same after elections ;D :P
