So I just now got my letter from the Postman...it states that since I am a canadian citizin I didn't have to include our 2 children in the application for sponsoring and I basically overpaid(which will be refunded) and they have been removed from the sponsorship application. (I had already applied for Proof of Citizinship for them in Berlin so they are basically already Canadian)

Thats it...nothing about SA. Nothing new on eCas. Hopefully this hasn't set us back for some reason..although I can't see why as they don't need anything new, just removed something....right?(just trying to stay positive! ???)

I actually did write my email address on the app to get correspondance that way...odd that they have still sent it via snailmail...?

I had to call in to the call centre since its not updated on the website yet. Website still says July 3 and CIC received my app on July 20 . I called in earlier than the date that was noted on the website but the CSR was kind enough to let me know this information. Apparently, my app is already on its way to VO.

I just called CIC call centre. One kind hearted Rep mentioned that my file transferred to Singapore yesterday and they are mailing an eligibility letter.

Congrats everyone so far, I tried to call this morning but the agent did not want to check the status because it is not passed the date. I hope they update the date by Friday...

I believe ecas is updated on Tuesdays, does anyone know what time it is usually updated?

It is a myth that ECAS is only updated on Tuesdays. It can be updated any day of the week, users have reported seeing changes on Sundays.

My own status changed on Monday last week.

AOR 08-13-2015
SA 09-15-2015 (today!)

I added myself to the spreadsheet too!

In the email from Citizenship and Immigration Canada there is the following paragraph:

If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original
Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Upfront
Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination
and, once completed, forward this information directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy
of this letter. Your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative
must forward the medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her
application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application.

My wife already had her medical exam in China. She went to one of the clinics listed on the CIC website. After the exam, she received a confirmation paper from the doctor, which we included it in our application.

What should I do about this?

What should I do about this?

I have seen other members posting the same message. When you check your status in ECAS does it mention medical results received under the permanent residence application?

Sometimes CIC sends generic messages out, it does not necessarily mean that they do not have your medical info sheet (the one you included in your application).

If ECAS does not mention your medicals being received I would send a case specific enquiry with a copy of your medical sheet from your doctor attached. Let us know.

I checked my permanent residence status on ECAS. It only says that "We received [my wife]'s application for permanent residence on July 14, 2015."
When you talk about a case specific enquiry, are you referring to this link?

I got this in my letter too. Did she do e medical or was it a paper based clinic?
We included copy of sons form 1017 proof and an emailed printout of his. We are also wondering if these are not acceptable.

CIC just updated their page about the Assessment of Sponsor, they are working on application received on July 13th and update date shows as of Sept 1st.
