Hey all,

I'm just wondering if anyone who has had an SA come through, does the CIC actually call your "current employer" to confirm employment? I am moving to a new job in a new province for November 1st, and will be giving my notice at my current job (the one on the application, with the letter of employment) probably on November 17. I will be making more money at my new job, but am just wondering if the CIC will be put off that I'm changing jobs in the middle/ end of the 6 week SA approval time line... as my application was only received on September 4th... Thoughts?

Hi

No, CIC will not call your employer. You don't need to inform them of the job change, though you will need to update your address.
