You are well past the date they are processing. Have you tried calling the helpline? If you are in canada it cant hurt. Must be sponsor I believe.

Yes, I am the sponsor...my wife in Germany is coming to visit in Dec for a while, but I am hoping to at least have some good news to tell her in the meantime. I think I am also way past due, especially after what I seen today on First Stage approval times. I am calling the (helpless) line tomorrow...but after speaking with the helpline a few times before about some questions I had regarding the application, I am not going to hold my breath thinking they can actually help. Fingers crossed and hope for the best.

I have never called but I understand what you mean based on things I have read here, must be a frustrating job to go to everyday. But the minimum you will hopefully find out is that they have at least looked at your application and it hasn't fallen behind someones desk.... Hope you get some good news

hiiiii, my application was recieved by cpc on 18 july bt last month they send me the email to submit some new forms so just wait may be they send u some email

Just got off the phone with CIC helpline and they at least confirmed that they have my file. She said that it is not being processed as of yet, and could take another couple weeks for first stage. I guess if I were to find the positive, it would be that they at the very least have my file. haha

Not that I know of. I've read some from the August batch but they are from commonwealth or the US.

Great news everyone...after calling CIC helpline this morning to find out if they even have my file, I just received my First Stage approval via email. My wife's file has been forwarded to Vienna VO. What a relief to finally get a starting point.

That's great..now you need to be more patient for the step2..it is a longer waiting time..but it depends on the VO..good luck.

Thanks...knowing our file is at least accepted and now being processed is a huge weight lifted. Knowing my wife will be with me for a while in Canada this year is also a great feeling. Waiting together is much easier than waiting apart...it's been a long 4 1/2 years traveling back and forth.

Wow, this waiting is going to drive me nuts! I check everyday now to see if anything has changed. According to online, it is just received. We have our SA but nothing else after medicals received. (Although they were done upfront)
We are nearing 40 days since SA. I'm so ready for this to all be behind us!

I was looking over some of the other Visa office wait times and wow! I want to apply from Paris! haha
