Any Jul 10th to 15th guys still waiting for PPR and ECAS third line to show up?

Although still not as bad but I hope we don't land in a June-like situation where sizable number of ppl got held up!

I'm planning to apply GCMS notes towards end of June from India....

Hi All,

I just received my COPR and Passport with the Visa.

However looks like my name got screwed up in both the COPR & VISA.

I can't exactly blame them for this mess up because my Passport first page contains my name in this format.

However I also have an observation page in my passport with the amended details showing the proper First Name and Last Name.

My first name and last name is combined as a single name and put in the Family Name Section.

Is this something that could create an Issue and can this be corrected at the time of landing or needs to be done prior to it?

Any suggestions?

congrats clerk.. I would just go to the boarder and carry all your documents along with something to prove your correct first and last name such Driver Licence or health card.

I got married on 14th May 2015. I did not inform CIC about the marriage at last step as I didn't wanted to delay my application (my visa is expiring in next few months). Now, I am not sure if there will be any problem while I land in canada? Do they ask if I got married while my application was in process? Do they know by any chance that I am married? Will there be an issue when I sponsor my wife?

Hi,

It would have been prudent to ask this question before you send the passport for PR visa. The email clearly mentions that you need to inform CIC of any change in the family composition before a PR visa can be issued. I really don't know how to help you on this situation other then what other members have correctly pointed out that you can be guilty of misrepresentation if CIC ever finds out.

My suggestion find a good lawyer/consultant. You may need their services in the future.

Hi Guys,

After receiving PPR, I have let CIC know that my spouse is non-resident to canada and asked them to arrange visa stamping from her country of residence.
Does anyone face the same situation? What would be the next step and how long this might take?

I am in the same situation. Did you mail your passports to Ottawa? I mailed my passport along with the request to change the VO for my family to New Delhi, India. There is no fixed turnaround time as some applicants got a reply in 2-3 days and some had to wait for 2 weeks.

Today I got "Ready for Visa" e-mail from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca .
for PASSPORT(S) REQUEST.

As I am residing in india , I replied back by requesting CPC that ,
to make arrangements to print our visas at an office in India.

anyone has any idea , how long does it take CPC to reply for this kind of request. ?

My ECAS status still shows 3 lines only.Is this normal ?

Please let us know if your suggestions/ideas on this. Please update the spread sheet for july with my deails for getting PPR.

Hi,

There is no fixed turnaround time as some applicants got a reply in 2-3 days and some had to wait for 2 weeks and its normal that sometimes there is a delay in updating the ecas.
