Thanks astasi for your quick reply. can you please help me with my another question?

I got married on 14th May 2015. I did not inform CIC about the marriage at last step as I didn't wanted to delay my application (my visa is expiring in next few months). Now, I am not sure if there will be any problem while I land in canada? Do they ask if I got married while my application was in process? Do they know by any chance that I am married? Will there be an issue when I sponsor my wife?

Please help...

Hello all,

Today I received an email from CIC asking for "Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination."
I have done medical back in March, the guy in the clinic said my result was uploaded.
Also in April I had send copy of my Information Sheet to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca just to be on safe side...

I am wondering what kind of proof they want and what can I do since the Information Sheet is the only document I received from the clinic.

Thanks...

As per CIC you are supposed to declare such information before sending your Passport for Visa stamping. The PPR letter reads as follows....

"You will be asked to submit evidence such as a copy of the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption certificate or a letter advising when and where the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption is expected to take place. Any new spouse and/or children must be added to your application and be found admissible to Canada before your case is finalized. Failure to declare additional dependants such as a spouse or children before you become a permanent resident could result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa. Once your file is closed, you would be required to submit a new application and pay new processing fees. Any new application would be assessed under the Act and Regulations in force at the time of its submission."

I am not sure if there is a process in place for this kind of scenario but I would suggest you take a copy of that email to the clinic, where you did your medical and have them provide you with some kind of official confirmation that they may have from your file or may have got some document from CIC upon successful completion of upload. Hope this helps....

------------------------------------------
1. How long does it usually take for second review? Any July 2014 applicants going through second review?
2. I also worked as Personal Banker with same employer under same NOC from June 2013 to Sept 2013, was promoted to Senior position in Sept 2013, but CIC officer didn't mention experience from June-Sep 2013 in his/her comments. It was confirmed with employment letter and pay stubs. Should I contact CIC in this regard?
3. Official job descriptions were provided in addition to the employment letter.
4. 2014 NOA and T4 from same employer with $90K earnings submitted voluntarily.
5. Does the "Due Date: 2015/05/13" under ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT: 1 means the date of second review. FYI... The GCMS report was generated on 2015/05/19.
6. I went for upfront medicals in March 2015, additional tests were requested, waiting for results to be submitted.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Guys,

After receiving PPR, I have let CIC know that my spouse is non-resident to canada and asked them to arrange visa stamping from her country of residence.
Does anyone face the same situation? What would be the next step and how long this might take?

Thanks in Advance.
