Received my PPR mail.

I already have a passport request from my PNP application. I will proceed to withdraw the PNP application and get PR visa under CEC.

I wish the remaining applicants waiting for their MR/RPRF/PPR the best of luck. It's a test of your patience and faith. So hang in there and everything will turn out fine at the end.

Started processing on June 5th/ RPRF request on June 11th paid same day// Decision Made on June 16th morning// PPR mail on June 16th evening.

I will update the same on the SS as well.

I am also waiting for my PPR email but my lawyer will be getting that from CIC first. So if you don't mind, can you tell me the exact time the PPR was emailed to you?

I have only just started looking into applying for GCMS, can I apply from outside Canada or do I have to get a friend in Canada to apply for me?

Hello Fellows
I got the PPR request last night around 8 O'clock EST. In the PPR email they still have my older mailing address so I had to notify them by email which I have done. Strange thing is in PPR request which was last week they had my current mailing address.
Do I have to wait for them to send me a confirmation that they have updated the address?
I am also planning to send two envelopes with my current address and a copy of the email sent to CPC just in case.

Quick question

On ECAS i only have two lines.

The first line is that they received my application.
The second line is that they received my medicals

Is this normal? I thought there was a line in between stating they were processing my application??

It looks normal. Based on the previous data, CIC should be working around that timeline next week. So may be you will see the second line (RPRF request) appear next week. I would advise you to go ahead and pay the RPRF upfront, that way you may end up saving like a week's worth of time. Good luck.
