Congrats bud

Canada Post is better as far as I know. Buy two express post envelopes. A bigger one and a smaller one. Put your address on the smaller one and put in into the bigger one along with your passport. This way they stamp the passport and they use the pre-addressed express post envelope to send the passport back. This way you can track the passport on it's way to Ottawa and you would know when they dispatch it from there since the tracking on the smaller express post envelope would be activated. I hope I did not end up confusing you. I have done this before and I am fairly sure that is exactly what CIC's website suggests us to do. Hope it helps

Thanks karankullar, My Lawyer suggested to send a cover letter with all details like UCI #, Application number, from and to addresses in it. As you suggested Canada Post seems to be a better option, I will go with this option.

It is depending on the background check since everyone has different background. However, you can keep track on our spreadsheet

Thanks a lot man!!

I hope you and everyone else too get their PR's ASAP..

Thanks again man...

Received RPRF request letter today. Immediately paid and sent in receipt by email according to letter instructions.

Odd thing - the RPRF letter had my new mailing address on it, which I changed 3 weeks ago due to moving, but ECAS still shows my old address.

ECAS:
We received your application for permanent residence on July 14, 2014.
We started processing your application on May 28, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Currently CIC is processing mid July applicants. So wait for a few more weeks for yours....

Hi all,

I am July applicant and was following this forum closely. Now is the time to disclose updates.

Category: CEC (2283) - Single applicant
Application sent: I think on 14th July 2014
Received date: 17th July 2014
Ordered 1st GCMS: 4th March 2015 (Not much to read into it)
Medical request: 19th March 2015
Medical test performed: 21st March 2015 (Pape Ave, Dr. Fransis Li) - Cost 260$ includes my copy of report as well
Medical result was received: I think March end (New line in ECAS appeared on 1st April)
Ordered 2nd GCMS: 5th April 2015 (Employement related information was correctly validated and satisfied) - I didnot submit employement letter on company letter head. Instead I had reference letter from a Project Manager of my company.
Applied BOWP: 5th April 2015 (I had plan to travel outside, my existing WP and visa was expiring in July, June respectively and my company had not told me anything for extension)
Ordered 3rd GCMS: 28th April 2015 (Have not received it yet)
RPRF paid upfront:9th May 2015 (Was impatient, coz my friend submitted 3-4 days ahead of me got RPRF couple of weeks before 9th May )
Inquiry to Ottawa: 15th May 2015 (Checking whether RPRF is mapped to my application). They confirmed on 28th May
3rd Line in ECAS: 31st May (It said they started processing my application on 27th May)
4th line in ECAS: 1st June (Decision Made)
Visa ready email: 2nd June

Today I will send passport for visa stamping.

Thanks a lot all of you for sharing individuals experience. It helped me a lot...

Thanks &Regards,
Jul2014
