Hey Guys,

I am a new member but have been a silent member for a while now. I am a July Applicant and I am a bit worried because I have not gotten the medical request as yet. When CIC request additional documents from you, do you go to the end of the queue or something and have to start waiting all over again? My timeline is as below:
Submitted application: July 22, 2014
AOR Received: September 23, 2014
Additional Docs Requested (NOA, 2013 Pay stubs and new Schedule 8th) March 25, 2015

No communication after March 25, 2014. However, I did confirm that the documents were received by CIC and added to my file.
I have been patiently waiting but now I am getting worried as I see alot of July applicants not only getting MR but also passport request

I got RPRF on May 21 & I paid it upfront. My status shows - We started processing your application on May 20, 2015. On May 23, I got a mail from CIC representative asking for my son's valid passport copy and I sent it immediately.

How long you guys think it will take to get PPR? I m little worried as I am in Canada for a limited time. What if I leave Canada now and go to another country at this stage?

If that another country is within North America you can just mail the passport to Ottawa. However, if you are outside of North America, you'll have to request CIC to have them let you send your passport to the local Canadian embassy or consulate. If you go back a few days on this thread, you'll find a person who posted the PPR email. In that email it states how to go about the business if you're out of North America. Hope it helps. Also, don't worry too much. There are ways to get around this problem.

You should apply for GCMS notes to have a better understanding of your case file.

Thanks: What happens if I am in transition in this situation. Example: I am in India during summers (when PPR comes) and then I am going to a new country? I will not have address of the new country I am going to.

I have paid my RPRF upfront on May 14.

Hope next is PPR.. ;D ;D

Noticed a 4th line in ecas today: "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Is this normally done through email or what? Also, anyone know how long it usually takes? I'm from a visa exempt country.

I must say I'm excited/nervous!

Congrats frozenbc......You may like to call CIC at 1888-242-2100 to confirm your application has been approved. It may take a couple of attempts before you connect with a CIC agent who would confirm the status of your application.
