Hello guys.. I have a confusion so needed your input.. My wife and I did upfront medicals which were uploaded on March 24th 2015. I sent an email to CIC and got their confirmation that results have been uploaded to our profile. Now, after this email we did not see second line for "Medicals have been received" in ECAS right away. Around 2-3 April 2015 the second line appeared..

Now, does it mean that CIC was going to send me an MR but since they already have it and its cleared, the second line was added in ECAS? Is that a cue for me to pay upfront RPRF or should I wait for CIC email?

How do people know when their meds have been received is it an update on ecas or do you receive an email?

It is updated on your ecas.

In my case it took CIC less than a week to respond and about 8-9 days to show up on ecas.

Please add this details in spreadsheet. I think you missed it.

I am new to the forum. I am silent reader, today I got medical request email for myself and my kid, but did not get for my wife. She did her medicals in Feb 2014 for work permit extension. May be it was a miss from CIC to send her MR email or it is going to be <15 months of prior medicals done.. not sure what is the reason. Did anyone face such situation? Will the medical panel doctor have the details of her IMM? I am planning to call for Dr appt tomorrow.

Please advice
I received Medical and PCC request on 18 March.
I have submitted PCC on 20th March and it reached CIC on 23rd March. I have also done my medicals on 21st march.
As of now, my status is still not updated with Medical received. Any obvious reason why it has not been changed? Is there any concern with medicals or PCC ?

Hey Jitendra!

did you do emedicals? If so then check with the clinic if they have uploaded your results?

Even after results have been uploaded sometimes ecase status does not get updated.

I would suggest to do the above and wait for a few days. If still you don't see any updates you can shoot an email to CPC sending them scanned copies of your latest PCC and Medical results asking them if they have received your results and PCC.

In fact a friend of mine also did the medicals from same clinic on same day (21st March) . It seems status is updated for him on 1st April.
The only difference between mine and his applications is PCC request. I have got it on 18th march and he doesn’t.(he has sent it with application in July)

If the clinic confirmed that it was sent out, that'd be the least thing to worry about. ECAS status may or may not get updated at all.

Yes same thing happened with an acquaintance of mine. His results were uploaded a week earlier than mine but his ecase status changed only a week later much later than mine got updated.

So don;t worry.,,,just wait for 3-4 days more and still if u dont see changes email ur scanned copies of medicals and pcc to CPC-CTD and ask them if they received your documents and ask them to confirm in reply.

Of course these guys are lazy and may not reply but still you have evidence that you sent them everything from your side.

Moreover ecase status is a very unpredictable thing..i have seen many people in the forum who got their ecase status updated much much later..so don't worry but just do the follow up from ur side.

I am sure you should be fine and your status will get updated in next few days.
