Hi Both, i am in the same boat
Submitted end of July 2014, similar timelines to you both,,
Decision Made, last week noticed this in ECAS but no other communication as to what the decision is or even how long it will take to find out.
I call CIC they dont give you any help, say it could take 2 weeks or 2 months..
Any ideas anyone??

we also done MR on jan 4 but didnt see any update on Ecas....(my reports were submitted last week by the doctor)

just wanted to let you know that I got my COPR yesterday.

That said, I wanted to thank everyone for the support and awesomeness in this forum.

I will land tomorrow at Peace Arch and breath for the first time since nearly 2 years.

Stay patient, one day the long expected message will come to those, who are still waiting

but my file has been under security check for more than 8 month.
contacted MP's, minister, CIC... with no luck

I'm thinking about sending Express Entry application.

I would suggest wait for some more time. We, June applicants , waited almost an year for no reason. Our status was same as yours (security check in progress) for almost an year. I am sure, you don't have to wait for that long as CIC targeted to complete all old applications before this June.

You can create an EE profile, of course, and see what happens. However, since they are clearing the backlog, your time will certainly come soon. It's absolutely random as it seems. Some September and October applicants have huge progress while July and August applicants are still waiting.

based on what I heard so far from CIC, security check is sth out of their office. they don't have any access to it & have no idea when it's going to end.

I am July 2014 applicant and received the mail 3 days after my status changed to "decision made".

I just have to "land" now, which I will do today.
