Received a Request for Additional Information email today..... asking for PCC of a country that was mentioned in Education section under Schedule A.... replied explaining that it is not required due to the program conducted on distance learning model (never visited or lived in that country)!

Hoping they trigger the PPR now coz the good sign is that they've re-looked at my file. ::)

FILE BF'd means file forwarded to

BF means "bring forward". There's always a number of days associated with - for e.g. 'BF 30 days' means the VO will take a look at your file again after 30 days.

Hello everyone,
I have been a silent follower of this forum for months (I guess like 100s of others). I am a July 2014 applicant, my file was in second review, and after an agonizing 18 month wait, I finally completed my landing today. Over the course of all these months, in spite of all the frustration and negativity, my hopes were kept alive by the news of some progress by my fellow applicants on this forum. So, I thought I should share my timelines, in case it gives some hope to the rest of the people here waiting for their turn to breathe a sigh of relief. Thanks everyone!
My timelines:
CEC category; NOC: 3111
Application received: July 30, 2014
AOR: October 14, 2014
Medicals done upfront: January 13, 2015
Medical request: October 10, 2015
RPRF request: October 15, 2015
PPR: January 12, 2016
Decision made: January 13, 2016
Visa issued: January 16, 2016
Landed: January 26, 2016
