Please get you Passport renewed now and send the new Passport photocopy to CIC., and avoid problems for future.
You could probably have a new passport by the time you receive your medicals.. Act fast.

problem is i cant renew my passport from canada as my temp resident permit expired. i applied for an extension but its in progress.. and i cant renew passport on implied status apparently..

I'm sorry I am new to this forum but I'm trying to figure out if anyone is in the same position as me. I sent off my application for PR from CEC on July 27th 2014 and received my AOR on October 9th 2014. It has now been over 13months since my AOR came and I have not received any correspondance from CIC.

I understand that I am waiting to be asked to take my medical but there has been nothing. I tried calling CIC but they just say (after jumping through all the 'press this number' hoops)'due to a high volume of calls we cannot connect you please try again later'. IS there anyone else that has been waiting this long for the next step. I have just had to apply for another bridging open work permit.

Any help appreciated.

keep calling cic even after they cant connect you call right back..sometimes you will get hold of them then press 1131 to go to PR status.
Did you order GCMS notes? it might be a good idea in your case to see whats the hold up for.

Keep calling CIC. The best time is in the morning, i.e., 9am EST.

i had applied on july 31st and AOR received on oct 8th,2014.
nothing after that.
i had ordered my GCMS couple times and says nothing abt that.just processing.
just wait and pray to god,that's all you can do right now.

Got my RPRF yesterday and paid today. The email I received from them says the application is still in process though.

They received my application on July 28th and my online status has been stuck at Medical Results Received since May. Every time I called them they said they couldn't comment on applications still in the process stage (it is still stuck at the same status online even if they requested for the RPRF). Is this normal?

What are usually the next steps once one pays for the RPRF?

Its strange because last 2,3 weeks they are currently on JUNE applications, but CIC is unexpected.
Any ways if you got the request for RPRF very soon probably within a week you will got DM and PPR.

Also please confirm your timeline and when did you get the request for RPRF ?

Its usually one or two week but it is also depend on luck and case as well. I know one guy Iceprince77 he got decision made in July but did not got yet the PPR yet. So CIC is unpredictable.

I am July, 2014 applicant.
Well I got my RPRF in June, 2015 and paid the fees the same day. Till date no updates.
Almost 5 months.
GC notes says, the security is in progress since June, 2015.
